...as I threw my leg over the seat and started the motor, a flood of emotions went through my mind and body. As I shifted the bike in gear and proceded onto the track for the first time in 21 years, seeing the painted berms, the asphalt rushing under the motorcycle, and listening to the motor work as we went up through the gears, nostalgia highlight reels from another lifetime began playing in my mind. And over the din of rushing wind and engine, I heard the track goddess whisper in my ears....welcome back Eric. And then she began enchanting me with the curves and undulations of her asphalt anatomy freeing me from the everyday and letting me enjoy the now as only she can....
