In the fading days of a long Indian summer, Kona travelled to the Selkirk Mountains above Revelstoke, British Columbia to capture our XC bikes doing what they do best, inhale single trails. For three days Kona Team rider Spencer Paxson and Kona Grassroots rider Eric Goss took two of our finer 29-inch wheel XC bikes and laid waste many kilometers of ultra buff B.C. singletrack. Thanks to the incredible work of the Revelstoke Cycling Association (bikerevelstoke.org/enter/), rides like the speedy Frisby Ridge Trail, the iconic Keystone-Standard Basin and the endless Mt. Macpherson network presented us with some of the best cross-country riding on the continent. Rides with views so spectacular it's hard to keep your eyes on the path ahead, made with dirt of heavenly origin. With Spencer riding our 2013 Raijin Lynskey made titanium frameset, and Eric on our all-new Kona Carbon Race Hei Hei Supreme, we had an especially hard time keeping up with them…even in a helicopter!
